Cozy Cowl Free Crochet Pattern
It’s official, the Holidays are here! I personally think they came a whole lot earlier this year than normal but maybe thats just because time seems to be flying by, I mean, where did 2019 go?!
So that’s when I started thinking about what I wanted to design for y’all next. And of course I knew it would need to be a winter accessory that was not only beginner friendly, but super cute and could be worked up quick for all you holiday gift makers!
After a quick poll on Instagram, y’all helped me decide on a quick and easy cowl to go along with my Twila twisted turban!
I hope you love it! 🌵
What you will need:

-Yarn Needle

ST- Stitch
YO- Yarn Over
SL ST- Slip Stitch
FDC- Foundation Double Crochet

Pattern
This cowl is sized for an average woman. It measures approximately 11” wide by 8” tall, with instructions for size modifications at the end.
Round 1: FDC 42, join with a SL ST to form a ring
*If you are uncomfortable with FDC, feel free to CH 45, DC in the 4th CH and in each ST.*
Round 2: CH 1, SC in the first ST. *BS next ST, then SC next* repeat from * to * around. Join with a SL ST to your first SC.
Round 3: CH 2, DC in each ST around
Round 4-12: Repeat rounds 2 and 3 ending with round 12 being a BS round.
Finish off, take your yarn needle and weave in those ends!
To adjust the size of your cowl, just chain or FDC an even number of stitches for your width, and repeat the pattern as is. To make the cowl longer or shorter, simply add or remove the number of rows before finishing off!
